Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci, (born November 12th, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej (now Onesti] Romania) Romanian gymnast who was the first gymnast to receive a score of a perfect of 10 during an Olympic event. Bela Karrolyi, an Romanian gymnastics instructor who later became the coach for Comaneci and first became aware of Comaneci when she was just six years old. In 1969, she took part in the Romanian Junior Games and placed 13th. She was awarded the championship in 1970. In her 1972 first international competition, which was an Olympic-style junior preolympic competition that was open to countries of the communist bloc, she took home three gold medals. Then in 1973 and 1975 she was awarded the All-around Junior Champion. The athlete won four golds and one silver in her senior debut international competition which took place in the year 1975. This was the first time she participated as a senior. She became the first female to perform the reverse double salo of the parallel bar that was uneven in the event she won American Cup, New York City 1976. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. In her teens Carol Wayne started working in the entertainment business by performing in the form of a figure skater. With her younger brother Nina Wayne she was part of the traveling show Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was born on September 6 1942 on the 6th of September 1942 in Chicago Illinois US. Carol's professional career started in the entertainment industry during her teenage year. Her first job was as a figure skater, performing alongside her younger twin sister Nina Wayne as part of the traveling entertainment shows known as Ice Capades. The show featured dramatic ice skating shows.
