Emily Irene VanCamp, a Canadian actor and actress, is famous for her roles as the main character in a variety of television shows as well as for her outstanding performances in films. The actress is popular on Canadian and American Television. Emily began acting at 12 when she was visiting her sister Katie in one of Katie's movies. Once she had discovered that acting was a passion, Emily began to learn how to act as well as attend auditions. After several commercials that were successful, she was soon cast in the Canadian children's horror television series Are You terrified of the Dark? The only scene that she had was one with no sound. Her first major breakthrough at fifteen when she was spotted as a regular on The WB series Glory Days.
