She was born on the 29th of March, 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Her given name was Gerina Mendoza. Gerina Stevenson, who is the Mexican mother from Rita Stevenson Stevenson and Alan Stevenson Stevenson is birthed in Mexico. The mother of two is a Mexican by blood but an American nationality. She has always been a sports enthusiast. Gerina was a golfer when she was just age 15. Gerina attended Goddard High School. She won her place in the New Mexico State Golf Tournament during her time in high school. Along with volleyball, she competed on the state level. She attended Texas's University of Texas, Texas, for the 2003 academic year. She took home all the tournaments she played in during her senior year. In her undergraduate years she won the titles as Conference USA Female Athlete and Conference USA Individual Player of the year.
