Kristen Noel Kristy Swanson, an American actor, is most well-known for her performances as Buffy Summers and Rebecca Becky Granger. She has also appeared as the roles in the TV film Nightingales, the NBC series of the same title (which lasted only a few episodes) and Erica Paget from the CBS drama Early Edition, and Marlowe Viccellio from Psych. Being a native of California she was attracted to acting from the time she was a child. Her career began in commercials, in which she starred in commercials for a number of companies. The first time she appeared on screen in 1984 during NBCs It's Your Time episode. She made her screen debut in 1986 on an edgy romantic comedy titled Pretty in Pink. Swan, who is renowned for her breath-taking voice and smooth blonde hairdo, has played side roles in the last several years. Flowers in the Attic earned her the Young Artist Award in the Horror or Mystery Motion Picture category for 1989.
